Review: New viewers can enjoy newest ‘Pirates’

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is an action film. The cast features popular names such as Johnny Depp playing Jack Sparrow, Brenton Thwaites as Henry Turner, Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa, and Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth.
The plot of the movie is that Henry is trying to break the curse that fell upon his father long ago. The only way to break the curse is to get Neptune’s trident, so he seeks help from Jack Sparrow and on the way meets Carina Smyth and Captain Barbossa. They set off on a journey to get the trident.
It is worth watching because the special effects are great. To be able to edit a hand going through some one must be hard, as well as effects like the undead and how things pass through them like magic.
With Jack Sparrow in the movie, you have to expect good humor, which he delivers. A lot of the humor used is prop humor.
I would recommend it to teens and young adults, mostly because a lot of the movie is people dying and that is pretty sad and not kid friendly.
It is a five star movie because there was no point in time where I felt like I did not understand what was happening. The movie does that well because there is not a lot from the past movies that would be needed to know to enjoy it.
